Jim Schwartz
Jim Schwartz is the lead leadership coach with the Network for College Success. Prior to joining Network for College Success, Schwartz was the principal of the Al Raby School for Community and Environment, a small Chicago public high school focused on college preparation and community activism. Schwartz led the school in enhancing its systems of instruction and student supports so that students were ready for, enrolled in, and successful during college. In this work, Schwartz and the school partnered with Network for College Success to develop an Instructional Leadership Team, build teacher capacity, and create a college-going culture. Before the principalship, Schwartz served as the assistant principal and a teacher leader at Al Raby and was a member of the school’s founding team.
