Lindsay Shirvanian
Lindsay Shirvanian began her career in the Flemington Raritan School District. She spent six years teaching first grade and was then trained in Reading Recovery in 2011. She then became a reading recovery and reading support teacher in grades K-4. Shirvanian is now the vice principal of Robert Hunter Elementary School in Flemington, NJ. Throughout her career, Shirvanian has been trained in Responsive Classroom, Cooperative Learning, and Sheltered Instruction and has led numerous professional development sessions on the district level. She was named Educator of the Year in her school building in 2015-16 and was selected to be a fellow in the JerseyCAN Teacher Leader Policy Fellowship in 2021-22.
