    Andrew Wayne, a managing researcher at AIR, is a researcher and policy expert on K-12 education. He leads projects to design, improve, scale, and test the impact of K-12 educational policies and programs, especially those focused on teachers and teaching. His current work is funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Education’s Educational Innovation and Research grants program and the Institute of Education Sciences. He has published in such journals as Educational Leadership, Educational Researcher, and Review of Educational Research.

    Destiny Shantell Woodbury is in her 14th year in education. She began her teaching career with Teach for America in 2007. She has worked at the Teach For America Houston Institute in many roles for 10 years. Previously, she was a School Leader at YES Prep where she reduced the suspension incident rate (students with 1+ incident) from 44% to 15%. Prior to joining YES Prep, she was a school leader in Achievement First in Brooklyn, NY.
