Andrew Wayne
Managing Researcher
Andrew Wayne, a managing researcher at AIR, is a researcher and policy expert on K-12 education. He leads projects to design, improve, scale, and test the impact of K-12 educational policies and programs, especially those focused on teachers and teaching. His current work is funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Education’s Educational Innovation and Research grants program and the Institute of Education Sciences. He recently completed an eight-district randomized-controlled trial on the impact of providing performance feedback to teachers and principals. He has published in such journals as Educational Leadership, Educational Researcher, and Review of Educational Research.
