My Teaching Partner: Proven strengths-based coaching model that raises student achievement and engagement

Improve student outcomes with a proven strengths-based coaching model developed at the University of Virginia. MyTeachingPartner Coaching Model (MTP) focuses on how teachers and students interact in the classroom. The MTP model has been proven to have a positive impact on strengthening instruction and increasing student engagement, and researchers found a reduction of racial disparities in disciplinary practices and fewer referrals for behavior. This webinar will feature an expert panel followed by an extended Q&A period to encourage robust discussion.    Participants will: Learn about the elements that make MTP coaching unique: a focus on classroom interactions, a strengths-based approach to engaging teachers, and use of video clips as a focus for reflection; Learn about the research that shows MTP’s effectiveness in improving student outcomes
