Leaders, are you regulating your emotions or repressing them?

Leaders who are calm, cool, and collected instill a sense of confidence and safety in others. They regulate their emotions to stay focused on the task at hand. They navigate complex problems and deescalate intense situations without letting their own frustrations, worries, or annoyances get the best of them. But there’s a fine line between regulating your emotions and repressing your emotions, and that line can be easily crossed when you live a busy, demanding life, as educators do by the very nature of their jobs.
