Angelyn Nichols serves as a specialist in the office of professional growth and innovation in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Nichols has a passion for social-emotional learning, equity, systems thinking, leadership development, and trauma-informed practices. Serving as the SEL project lead and co-chair for the SEL Implementation Team in Virginia Beach City Public Schools fuels her purpose of building authentic connections with the hearts and minds of educators. Nichols is a collaborative developer for the monthly What’s JOY Got to Do With It? newsletter and is an advocate for adult well-being.
