Learning Forward held an illuminating virtual workshop on AI Essentials for Professional Learning Leaders on February 19, 2026. The event was hosted by Machel Mills-Miles and featured AI experts Dyane Smokorowski and Rob Dickson, who followed up their popular keynote session at the Learning Forward 2025 Annual Conference.
Participants learned practical strategies for using AI, exploring topics such as creating personalized learning scaffolds, turning brainstorming sessions into actionable plans, and designing experiences that are adaptable to students’ varied needs. They walked away with a host of ideas and resources including sample AI prompts, a list of AI tools and their best uses, and instructions for creating customized chatbots.
We are planning additional AI learning experiences. To be notified about these opportunities, sign up at learningforward.org/ai-in-professional-learning-signup/.
