The next cohort of the Learning Forward Academy is now forming. The academy is a 2 ½-year inquiry-based learning experience centered around solving challenges in participants’ districts or schools. Collaborating with colleagues from around the world, academy members dive deep and align their problems of practice with high-impact professional learning standards and learn to use high-quality, research-based tools and resources. Members also engage in ongoing work with a designated coach. Benefits of the academy include:

• 2 ½ years of learning with educators from around the world
• Ten face-to-face learning days with academy colleagues
• Four virtual learning events between face-to-face sessions
• Registration for the Learning Forward Annual Conference during the duration of the academy
• Customized feedback and ongoing support from an experienced coach who is also an academy graduate
• Learning Forward membership and resources, including The Learning Professional, for three years
• Access to academy alumni
• A graduation ceremony and celebration at the Learning Forward Annual Conference

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a final deadline of March 20, 2026. Scholarships are available through the Learning Forward Foundation. Applicants can indicate their interest in scholarships through the academy application.
