Miami-Dade teachers grow with professional learning resources

Miladys Cepero-Perez is an instructional supervisor in the Office of Professional Learning and Career Development for Miami-Dade County Public Schools in Florida, the 3rd-largest school district in the U.S. with 337,100 students. The district has more than 34,000 employees, making it one of the largest employers in Miami-Dade County. Cepero-Perez is a graduate of the Learning Forward Academy Class of 2024, a recipient of the Learning Forward Foundation’s Stephanie Hirsh Scholarship, and a director at large for the Learning Forward Florida Affiliate’s board of directors. Miladys Cepero-Perez serves as an Instructional Supervisor in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where she champions the professional learning of teacher leaders and administrators. She excels in planning and designing student-centered professional learning experiences. With a proven track record, she has successfully launched and expanded programs at both district and state levels within the K-12 education system. Currently, Mrs. Cepero-Perez holds the position of District 5 Director at Large for the Learning Forward Florida affiliates and is set to graduate from the Learning Forward Academy in December 2024.
