Lisa Anderson
Associate Superintendent
Lisa Anderson has led a successful career in education for 32 years. She is currently an associate superintendent with the Yuma Union High School District in Yuma, Arizona. She began her professional educational career as a classroom teacher (middle and high school German) and high school counselor. Anderson’s campus administrative experiences include guidance director and assistant principal from 2005-09. In 2009, Anderson extended her leadership district-wide as executive director of student services (CTE, Special Education, and Vista Alternative High School Principal) prior to her promotion to associate superintendent in 2016. In her non-stop quest to help children and remove barriers to learning, she has been instrumental in developing and implementing some of the programs and support services within Yuma Union High School District. Anderson is a graduate from Sun Prairie High School, received her education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and graduate and post-graduate degrees from Texas State University and the University of Phoenix.
