Jamalya N. Jackson
Executive Director, Professional Learning
Jamalya Jackson is the executive director of professional learning in Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS). Jamalya has held various positions throughout HCPS, including school psychologist at the Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and ESE-center based levels, supervisor of Title I staff development, supervisor of teacher training, and director of new teacher induction. Currently, Jamalya is the executive director of professional learning. Throughout her many positions, she has been committed to helping schools create a system of support to improve teacher effectiveness and increase student achievement.
