The Learning Forward Academy Class of 2016 convened for the first time in July in Chicago. The latest cohort has 77 members whose learning is facilitated by three coaches. During their first meetings, Academy members clarify the problem of practice they’ll address during their 2½ years in the Academy. They also learn about Learning Forward fundamentals, including the Standards for Professional Learning. One important task during the first session is for participants to get to know the other members of their Academy learning team (see photo).
