Abdul-Rehman Issa joined the Los Angeles Education Partnership in November 2022. He previously served as an SEL and special education coordinator and an co-principal at APEX Academy in East Hollywood, and as assistant principal at Alliance College Ready Public School. He teaches in the Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peace-building and SLP programs at California State University-Dominguez Hills, and supports schools’ special education and restorative practices and justice needs.
