    School leadership must be a team effort to be successful. Leadership teams are beneficial because they bring multiple voices to the table, provide an opportunity to create and implement a collective vision and mission, and divide up the many responsibilities of running a school. Developing high-functioning leadership teams requires intentionality and a clear understanding of team processes that lead to success. Most teams need support to make the most of their time together and ensure results for students. Learning Forward’s Leadership Team Institute provides such support in a cohort-based model that helps leadership teams build capacity, identify problems of practice, create actionable professional learning plans, implement solutions, and monitor progress.
