Marissa Rathbone
Director of Strategic Advocacy
Marissa Rathbone currently serves the 1,477 locally-elected school board members as the director of advocacy with the Washington State School Directors’ Association. Her background is in health policy promotion, organizational management, and program implementation. With the heart of a health educator, supporting young people disproportionately underserved in schools and communities is her greatest passion. In addition to her work, she has served young people and adults in this way as the president of Pizza Klatch and currently as the president of Palmer Scholars and the Washington State ASCD.
