Larry W. Johnson
Larry Johnson oversees the development, evaluation, and academic accountability of Akron’s middle schools and their leaders, and facilitates leadership development by designing an aspiring leadership pipeline and onboarding new leaders. Previously, Johnson was the first Executive Principal in Akron Public Schools where he facilitated the development and leadership of the College and Career Academy Transformation in all middle schools. He also managed new initiatives, designed professional learning for teachers, led the district kick-off, and supported the first essential experience for all sixth graders.
