High School Science Training and Support Coordinator
Kendra Davis (Welling) is a high school science training and support coordinator in Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD). Previously, as a high school science teacher in Detroit, she experienced the value of empowering students in the classroom through leadership and student voice to meet the demands of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). In her fourth year as a member of the DPSCD science team, she supports the district’s K-12 science curriculum alignment to NGSS and provides training and support for the science teachers implementing new curriculum and standards.
