Sherratt's expertise centers on teacher shortages, teacher salaries, and ensuring equitable access for all students to excellent and diverse teachers. Sherratt has presented on these topics in national and international media, including NBC News NOW, the Teachers Caucus, Teacher Talk Radio, Korea FM Talk Radio, Education Week, and Educational Leadership, and at convenings of policymakers, researchers, and educators.
