Christopher J. Cormier's recent research focuses on the mental health of teachers across the United States. He has also conducted research on the underrepresentation of teachers of color in special education and the overrepresentation of minoritized students in special education, both domestically and internationally. He earned a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.
