OECD report underscores global need for teacher learning

OECD. (2023). Teaching for the future: Global engagement, sustainability and digital skills. International Summit on the Teaching Profession. OECD Publishing. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) hosts an annual International Summit on the Teaching Profession that brings together education ministers, union leaders, policymakers, and teacher leaders from all over the world to learn from each other about ways to elevate the teaching profession. In advance of the summit, OECD compiles and summarizes research on key topics to be discussed, drawing on several OECD resources, including results from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), and research and policy publications.
