Marsha Derice

Marsha Derice is an English teacher and teacher leader at the Urban Assembly Institute of Math & Science for Young Women. This summer, she will be Urban Assembly Institute’s acting principal, supervising all summer programs. Marsha has been a NYC educator for 12 years. In her work, she focuses on student-centered, high-level instruction and creating safe, supportive learning environments.
