As a member of Learning Forward, you agree to share your name, email address, mailing address and phone number and information needed with our partners who help us provide services. We will also share your information with affiliates who may reach out to you about membership.
If you have requested information or register for Membership, Webinars, Online Courses, Academy, Coaching, Mentor Services, or our Conference that information will be shared with the appropriate partner(s) to assist them in providing services to you. Your information is not sold to the partner and they will only use the information to provide the services requested, contacting you about membership or providing advertising for their services.
- Personal information is collected and used solely to fulfill the specified purpose(s) unless you have chosen to opt-out. We do share information for specific services, but we never sell your information.
- We retain personal information during the duration of your membership to provide customer service during your membership and for a minimum of five years after the membership expires.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request to Learning Forward to disclose or delete your personal information. To do so, you must provide Learning Forward with proof that the individual or business has been appointed as your agent, such as by providing a signed power of attorney and providing accurate responses to any information requested by Learning Forward that may be necessary to confirm that you are a Learning Forward user, such as your phone number, username, email address, mailing address, city, state, or geographic location. Learning Forward will attempt to respond to all legitimate requests within 60 days.

Regarding cookies:
- Learning Forward collects cookies on our website to gather anonymous information about page visits, which we use internally to enhance our content and improve our site's functionality.

Regarding analytics and advertising:
- Learning Forward utilizes analytics data and the DoubleClick cookies to deliver ads based on a user's prior visits to our website. Visitors to its website can opt out of the DoubleClick cookie via the Google advertising opt-out page or opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out page. - Learning Forward utilizes Informz by HigherLogic, which is used for forms tracking and our various Newsletters. If you would like to opt-out, you can go to the bottom of the email newsletter and opt-out or unsubscribe from there.
- Feathr is used for targeted ads. Learning Forward uses this to make sure the client is getting what they need. Feathr provides information on their privacy policy on their website.
- Crazy Egg is used for studying visitor behavior and how you use the website. This cookie is used anonymously and is not tied to any personal information. This cookie is use strictly for analytics and helps us to customize our website and content to our users. You can learn about the Crazy Egg privacy policy or opt-out by visiting their website.
Regarding conferences and meetings attendance and use of conference app:
- The Learning Forward conference app collects personal information including user id and password information in order to allow you to view your events, conference sessions during the annual conference. Learning Forward also collects Contact List information so that you can keep information needed during the conference and allows you to compile that information when you arrive home.
- Limited Information Sharing: Other users of the conference app will have access to limited information from your profile, such as your contact information and social sharing activity. However, we only share your first and last name along with your company name within the app. Your personal data beyond this is not actively shared. Your name, email, and mailing address may also be provided to various vendor sponsors, presenters and customer service personnel. The information can be used to determine how the session went, what you would like to see added or deleted and information on the topic of the session. During the registration process, attendees can opt-out of sponsor communications.
- Option for Contact Info Management: As an attendee, you have the flexibility to remove or update the contact information you share through the app. This allows you to control the extent of information visible to other users.
- Attendee Classification: Attendees at our conference may fall into different categories, including Users, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Speakers, or Staff. Each category may have specific access levels and privileges within the app.
- App Development: For our event, we provide data to the app developer to populate information regarding attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors within our conference app. This includes details such as attendee presence, sponsorship status, exhibitor participation, and speaker engagements, accompanied by graphics, images, logos, or photographs.
The information furnished by Learning Forward is used to prepopulate the conference agenda, session speakers, attendee roster, speaker lineup, exhibitor directory, and sponsor listing within the app. It's important to note that opting not to be listed may restrict your ability to network or connect with other participants during the event. - Attendees, Speakers, Sponsors, and Exhibitors have the option to request removal from these lists within the app by contacting Learning Forward directly. We respect your privacy preferences and aim to provide a transparent and customizable experience for all participants.

- Consent to use photographic images: By registering for and attending Learning Forward’s annual conference or participating in any meetings facilitated by Learning Forward, you agree to grant Learning Forward the permission to use and distribute your image or voice. This includes, but is not limited to, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and/or audiotapes captured during these events and activities. This agreement extends to both current and future use of such materials by Learning Forward.
Your participation in any Learning Forward conference, institute, or meeting serves as consent for Learning Forward to utilize these visual and auditory representations for promotional, educational, or informational purposes. Membership:
Membership information is used for our single sign on for the Learning Forward website as well as our Webinars, Services - including Online Courses, Academy, Coaching, Mentoring and Network Services, and Conference activities and app. For further details on our CMS vendor, see Growth Zone’s Privacy Policy.
Online Courses:
Learning Forward shares user id, password, name and general information that pertains to the course. For further details on our online course provider, Instructure. See the Instructure Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
Opting Out or Deleting Personal Information Sharing:
If you choose to opt out and have all personal information deleted, please send an email to office@learningforward.org. Please include your first and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number, company name (if applicable) and the nature of your request. When opting-out of specific information sharing or requesting that we delete your personal information, your membership and/or other services may be cancelled. We will notify you in writing if cancellation is necessary with in 60 days of contacting Learning Forward.
