Civil Discourse Policy
Learning Forward believes that civil discourse, in which educators engage one another with respect and curiosity, is foundational to high-quality professional learning. As such, Learning Forward expects all participants in our events, programs, and online interactions to engage in ways that foster a safe, supportive learning environment. We are committed to creating environments where ideas can be examined critically and collaboratively; and where all participants can contribute to respectful, informed, and student-centered dialogue that strengthens leading, teaching, and learning.
Disruption, harassment, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated. Learning Forward reserves the right to take proportional measures to maintain an environment conducive to the free exchange of ideas that is our mission to facilitate. These measures may include, but are not limited to, issuing warnings, removing content, terminating accounts, revoking access, and immediate removal from our events.
While differing perspectives are welcome and necessary, we distinguish between civil disagreement and behavior that undermines the ability of others to learn or be heard.
