Pletcher_headshot Bethanie Pletcher is currently an assistant professor of literacy education in the curriculum and instruction department at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Pletcher taught at the elementary school level for 12 years. She has presented professional development sessions at both the school and district levels and presents workshop sessions at national and state conferences and serves as a consultant in local schools.
