He has designed schools that cultivate global competence, developed computer games for language learning, and founded research and development institutions to explore innovative education models. Zhao has published over 100 articles and more than 20 books including Never Send a Human to Do a Machine’s Job: Correcting the
Top 5 EdTech Mistakes (Corwin, 2015) co-authored with Gaoming Zhang, Jing Lei, and Wei Qiu, and World Class Learners: Educating Creative and Entrepreneurial Students (Corwin, 2012). Yong Zhao will deliver the Wednesday morning keynote at Learning Forward’s 2015 Annual Conference on Dec. 9.
