The new generation of standards has significant requirements for increasing the amount of higher-order thinking and the depth of knowledge that students must obtain with content. Learn how to provide opportunities for students to think logically and go beyond acquisition of knowledge and skills in each lesson. Explore strategies for consistently incorporating higher-order questions, expectations, instruction, and activities across lessons. See how to select higher-order thinking strategies based on standards and learning goals.
