Standards for Professional Learning: Past, present, and future

By Learning Forward
April 2020
Vol 41, No. 2

The Standards for Professional Learning are the foundation of our work at Learning Forward. In 2020, we are embarking on the third revision of the standards as part of our ongoing eff orts to be responsive to changes in education. (See the Updates section of this issue for more information on the revision process.) Here’s a look at how the standards have shaped professional learning as we prepare for even more impact in the coming years.

Learning Forward is the only professional association devoted exclusively to those who work in educator professional development. We help our members plan, implement, and measure high-quality professional learning so they can achieve success with their systems, schools, and students.
