The Learning Forward Academy equips educators to turn learning into action and drive meaningful results for educators and students alike. To help educators understand how the academy is benefiting districts and systems, we have published impact stories from the classes of 2024 and 2025, including both data stories and teachable points of view.
Data stories make visible participants’ improvement journeys, articulating problems addressed, strategies implemented, and evidence of changes in educator practice and system outcomes. These stories help others see not just what changed, but how those changes mattered.
A teachable point of view helps academy participants advocate for professional learning by clearly articulating why this work matters, why the problem is worth solving, and why others should care. It connects personal values to professional action and helps leaders communicate the importance of sustained, high-quality professional learning as a driver for improved teaching and student achievement.
These impact stories can be found at learningforward.org/academy/tpov-collection.
