Chad Sutton

Chad Sutton oversees principals, assistant principals, and overall PreK–12 instruction for Kansas City’s Northland Schools, a district of over 21,000 learners and the largest school system in the City of Kansas City as well as the Missouri side of the Kansas City metropolitan area. He has been with Kansas City’s Northland Schools since 1999. Sutton’s career at Kansas City’s Northland Schools started as a teacher and coach before moving into leadership, first as an assistant principal and then as an elementary school principal. He was named deputy director of elementary education before becoming assistant superintendent of PreK–8 education and then moving into his current position.
